letting love in
Hardening our hearts is a natural, normal response to trauma and the harshness of life.
From preconception, gestation and birth we are conditioned to live in a world that doesn't always value humanity the way that it should.
The sacredness, the inherent life force within us isn't always honoured and throughout childhood, adolescence and adulthood our coping mechanisms grow.
Consciously softening and address these wounds takes tenderness and self love, courage and strength to choose a life of devotion rather than internalised pain.
This path heals us and creates space for a child to grow and feel nourished in.
When we can meet our pain and shadows with compassion, it helps us to meet others there as well.
Our foundation becomes one of love and growth, rather than suppression and reaction, which isn't our fault but our responsibility to try, even just a little to hold a different space for in the world.
